Urban Food Forest

Un bel video sul tema della foresta-agricola o del parco mangiabile: coltivato dai cittadini, per i cittadini, all’interno di una città!

A Seattle, nella zona di Beacon Hill, 7 ettari di foresta verranno popolati da alberi commestibili, arbusti fruttiferi, piante perenni e annuali, misti ad aree dedicate a orti comunitari, laboratori e angoli relax. Il tutto puntando al coinvolgimento della comunità e della città (che ha stanziato i primi $20.000 per iniziare la sperimentazione) con un progetto visionario di permacultura, funzionale alla riqualificazione urbana.
